Friday Night Viewing at Kirby Storter Roadside Park (January 7, 2011)
On the Friday of the new moon from sunset till dawn, we will be out in the darkness observing the stars and capturing pictures of a few of the dim fuzzy objects in the sky above us. All members (with or without their telescopes) are encouraged to participate. This is an out-of-town setting in an unspoiled section of the Florida Everglades where mosquito repellent is an absolute necessity.

Monthly Business Meeting (December 29, 2010)
The meeting will be held in the Executive Conference Room at the 24-Hour Dunkin Donuts On Davie Road in Davie Town. Attendance by invitation only.

Quarterly Board of Directors Business Meeting (January 26, 2011)
The meeting will be held in the Executive Conference Room at the 24-Hour Dunkin Donuts on Davie Road in Davie Town. Many important issues are on the agenda, including the establishment of a foundation to erect a world-class observatory at a dark site in South Florida. The meeting will commence at 7:00 PM and will run concurrently with dinner, drinks, and merriment. We will adjourn by about 9:00 PM. Members wishing to increase their level of participation in club activities are encouraged to attend. As always, spouses are welcome as well. Interested parties should contact Fred Lehman by e-mail for further instructions and a copy of the agenda.
